It's been three years since NovelAI was first publicly released on June 16th, 2021. To continue celebrating this momentous occasion, we’ll be hosting contests in two categories: Visual Art and Written Storytelling!

Three little pigs outsmart a big bad wolf, Goldilocks explores the home of three bears, genies notoriously grant three wishes. This ubiquity is also known as the 'Rule of Three', encapsulated by the Latin hendiatris Omne Trium Perfectum: "All that comes in three is perfect."
Art Contest
Create a NovelAI Diffusion piece to celebrate NovelAI's third anniversary, with the central theme being a set or group of three.
Three people, worlds, objects, sections of image, or even the number 3. We want to see beautiful scenes depicting trios of any type!

Use the built-in Screenshot Designer to capture the most memorable highlight of one of your favorite stories, whether that be a poem, an intense action scene, a romantic confession, your first kill, or the final conclusion of a grand adventure. We want to see the most outstanding memory you've ever made over the past three years with NovelAI!
Haven't made any exceptional memories, yet? Just get lost in a story you're currently writing, and submit a screenshot of the scene which stands out to you. You'll know it when you see it.
Your story screenshot must be:

• Written by the submitter
• Related to the Theme
Your stories may not include:
• Pre-existing IPs of any kind
• Overtly sexually explicit content
Once you've selected a suitable story passage, highlight all text you desire to be featured in your screenshot; we don't limit the visual length of your submission, but, keep your reader's attention span in mind! Then, select the Burger Menu on the very right side, and navigate to the "Take Screenshot" option.
Now, fiddling with the Screenshot Designer's settings can create the perfect visuals for your story excerpt. Captured a bonus snarky or funny comment from our Hypebot? Toggle the setting and include it. Proud of your work? Include your Pen Name and immortalize yourself as the author. Show which parts were contributed by the AI... or don't! Use whichever combination you are most comfortable with.
